Incomplete applications will not be considered.

A separate application form is required for each adult over the age of 18 who is intending on occupying the property.

Holding Fee

Should your tenancy application be successful, a holding fee of one weeks rent is immediately due and payable before close of business on the same day that your application has been accepted. Please pay this holding fee via EFT.

Privacy Disclosure and Declaration

This section provides information about how our agency handles your personal information, as required by the National Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988, and seeks your consent to disclosures to TICA Default Tenancy Control Pty Ltd (TICA).

The personal information provided by you in this application or collected from other sources is necessary to assess the risk to our clients in providing you with a rental property. In order to verify your identity and assess your application your personal information may need to be disclosed to other parties including the lessor, TICA, referees and other agents. If your application is successful, the personal information provided may be disclosed during the course of the tenancy to other parties including the lessor, TICA, referees, other agents and tradespeople.

TICA Default Tenancy Pty Ltd (ABN) 84 087 400 379 is a tenancy database that records tenants personal information from its members including tenancy application inquiries and tenancy history. The personal information that TICA may hold is as follows: name, date of birth, drivers license number, proof of age card number or passport number, comments made by a TICA member in relation to your tenancy.

In accordance with the National Privacy Principles, the applicant can assess the personal information an Agent holds. They can do so by contacting the Agent at the address and contact number contained in this application. In addition, you are entitled to have access to any personal information that TICA may have on their database. To obtain your information, contact TICA on 190 222 0346 (charged at $5.45 per minute, higher rates apply for mobile and pay phones).

If you fail to provide your personal information and do not consent to the uses set out above, we will not be able to process the application.

I, the said applicant, declare that all information contained in this application is true and correct and provided of my own free will. In addition, I declare the following:

  1. I have inspected the above mentioned property and I propose to rent the property in its current condition and state of repair.
  2. I agree to allow the agent to photocopy the information supplied by me for their records.
  3. I agree and understand that in the event of this application being successful, there is no requirement for the agent to disclose to me any reason for such rejection.
  4. I understand that unsuccessful application forms will be destroyed after 5 days.
  5. I, the applicant, declare that I am not bankrupt or an undischarged bankrupt and that I have not entered in to any arrangement for payment of monies to creditors.
  6. I declare that I am not paying off any previous rental debt.
  7. I authorise the agent to access and check any information that may be listed on me on the TICA Default Tenancy Database.
  8. I agree and understand that in the event of this application being approved, the agent may report any defaults that may occur in the tenancy with TICA. I understand that the removal of any such defaults is subject to the guidelines of the database companies.
  9. I agree and understand that in the event of this tenancy application being successful, all initial monies will be paid to the agent via EFT.
  10. I authorise the agent to contact any of the referees supplied by me in this tenancy application for verification including but not limited to current and previous agents, employers and personal referees.
  11. I authorise my current or previous real estate agent to give Catherine's Real Estate any and all information regarding my rental history including supplying full tenancy ledgers that are necessary to support this tenancy application.

I agree that by submitting this tenancy application form to Catherine's Real Estate I agree with the Privacy Disclosure and Declaration.
